Robinsons Scotland – Case Study

Galebreaker Distributors Robinsons Scotland – Installation at Scottish Government Bull Stud for the Crofters Commission

Knocknagael is a bull stud farm in Inverness home to some of the best breeding bulls in Scotland. The stud provides a bull hire scheme for crofters to ensure they can supply high quality stock to the Scottish Beef Industry.

For this installation one of the customers main priorities was ventilation within the building as a lack of good air circulation could significantly impact on animal health.

As part of creating the best indoor environment for the bulls Robinsons selected Galebreaker Rollerscreens which provide weather protection while allowing fresh airflow and good light transmission.

Testimonial from the stud:

“Working with Robinsons design and build team was a pleasure from start to finish once they were appointed by Robertson Construction Northern as a specialist subcontractor. Developing bespoke bull yokes from their standard range saw on site adjustments made with full size units, and live pedigree bulls, not simply by sketches.

Accurate client briefing and design and development with the Robinsons team allowed far greater cost control, design quality and end user satisfaction. With Robinsons appointed to deliver erect, clad and handover a fully functional galvanised steel frame, roof and enclosed facility with Yorkshire board and Galebreaker Rollerscreens meant that internal penning and concrete panels all fitted together seamlessly.”
